Moehrings Homemade is a home bakery owned and operated by Alyssa Moehring.   Alyssa takes immense pride in her baked goods and strives to use only the freshest ingredients, even growing what she can on her families homestead!

Hello!  My name is Alyssa Moehring - Owner, operator and baker of Moehrings Homemade.  I am lucky enough to be married to an amazing, supportive and dedicated man, Chris.  Together, we have 2 children aka: my tiny taste testers, Marley (5) and Carter (2 1/2).  

In January of 2022, I had to make a very difficult choice of returning to in-person work after Covid, and send my kids to daycare, or leave my career of nearly 14 years and raise my babies.  I made the best decision of my life!

In February of 2022, I began advertising cupcakes and cake-pops on local swap and sell sites just to earn a little extra income so the financial burden wasn't 100% on my husband. That's how Moehrings Homemade was born and I never imagined it would turn into what it has.

I became a vendor at the Thief River Falls Farmers markets where I began to really build my client base.  I started working on my skills, and decided to give cookie decorating a shot.  I discovered how a new passion, and it is quite relaxing for me.

One of the things I discovered is how supportive other small businesses in my community are.  Because of this, I make local small businesses a priority and try to collaborate as often as possible.

As business continues to grow, so does my love and passion for creating beautiful and tasty pieces of art for everyone to enjoy.  I enjoy the challenges and use them as opportunities to advance my skills.
